SEMINAR FOR PARENTS

HOMEWORK– IS IT HELPING OR HURTING MY CHILD?”
 PTAs
and other parent organizations often come to us with questions
about homework.
We offer this seminar due to the frequency of requests for information,
and the confusion parents often feel from the number of conflicting
messages about homework.
Topics include:
- Why does it seem that my child has so much more homework than
I did?
- What should I do if I feel my child has too much homework?
- When
and how should I help my child with homework?
- How can I help
my child juggle homework with extracurricular activities?
- Is
a lot of homework helpful or harmful?
- Should I utilize tutoring
services?

For teachers, who are
